D2UR (Pronounced: Detour) is a Canadian recording act from Winnipeg, Manitoba that features the sensual and powerful vocals of Diane Isbister and the hook-laden riffs of journeyman Mike Isbister.

Their debut album ‘Rev U Up’ was released in the summer of 2013 and is a testament to their ability to deliver commercially viable and intense pop rock songs that touch on universal themes that include love, passion, and good times. The first single from the record ‘Rev U Up’ was accompanied by a professionally produced music video. The song ‘Rev U Up’ received commercial radio air play in more than 10 markets and achieved the #4 position on the Canadian Active Indie Rock chart. D2UR’s second single off the album titled ‘What’s Wrong Today?’ was also supported by a music video. Notably, D2UR achieved a top 25 in Manitoba on CBC’s 2014 Searchlight Competition for their song ‘Not a good Day’. Their song ‘Silver & Gold’ from their upcoming album upped the ante by placing top 10 in this years CBC 2015 Searchlight competition – a sign that their experience in the studio and song writing craft is maturing.

Currently recording their second album due out in 2016, D2UR have released their new single, ‘Losing Control’ to rock radio across Canada. The music is guitar driven and relies on great rhythms and solid groove.

Previous accomplices have included Murray Pulver (Doc Walker, Crash Test Dummies) on guitar, Ken (Spider) Sinnaeve (Streetheart, Tom Cochrane, Loverboy) on bass, Chris Sutherland (Kim Mitchell, Sass Jordan) on drums, and Emmet Van Etten (The Webber Brothers) on drums. Most recently, Brent Fitz (Slash and Alice Cooper) was recruited to provide the rock n’ roll foundations on drums for many of the new songs on the new album.

D2UR have worked locally to expand their fan base through shows in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario and to promote their music. D2UR’s energy driven live concerts are embraced by and have received a tremendous response from audiences, everywhere they perform.
